This paper presents the field measurements carried out at an asbestos removal worksite, equipped with working mechanical ventilation systems. External-internal pressure differences as well as ambient wind velocities and directions have been simultaneously recorded to determine the relation between those parameters. Results suggest that external-internal pressure differences were found to be not uniform throughout the containment zone. This non-uniformity is likely to be caused by a number of factors such as ambient wind conditions, the building’s geometry but also the differential pressure measurement positions.

Abstract
This paper presents the field measurements carried out at an asbestos removal worksite, equipped with working mechanical ventilation systems. External-internal pressure differences as well as ambient wind velocities and directions have been simultaneously recorded to determine the relation between those parameters. Results suggest that external-internal pressure differences were found to be not uniform throughout the containment zone. This non-uniformity is likely to be caused by a number of factors such as ambient wind conditions, the building’s geometry but also the differential pressure measurement positions.File in questo prodotto:
